This is a very interesting page where the information and results of the tests carried out by the ARRL laboratory are compiled, mostly the receivers of the amateur radio transceivers are analyzed but on some occasions they also include the analysis of receivers, with the data From the table we can have an idea of the quality and performance of the receiver, as of today we see how the Icom-ICR8600 is present in the highest part of the list of receivers and it shows really good data.

In the past, brands such as Kenwood or Yaesu also had HF and General Coverage receivers in their equipment catalogs, but today it seems that they have abandoned this sector, hopefully with the return of icom to the highest positions in receiver quality and performance. It would be nice if those brands were back on the market with good receivers for radio amateurs, listeners and SWL.
